I’m either a master of manifestation or psychic, because I knew that Ingrid would be late today for our ROSE BOWL extravaganza. I just knew it. Since I’m going to the RB to work (buy to sell) and not just for fun, AND I had to cancel a trip just to go to this bitch (they’re only once a month), it was inevitable things would not go as planned.

I set my alarm for 7:30, called that trick, and waited until about 9:30 before getting on the subway. Of course she calls me mid-train, so now I’m sitting in Pasadena at a lovely bench outside a senior center (pictured) waiting for her. Less because I want to and more because I might as well cut my losses. It’s either wait and be later than I already am (I wanted to get there at nine, SHARP) or spend $10 on a cab and save myself the 20 minutes of wait time. I chose the latter since I’m already fucking late *sighs* and $10 is a lot to me.

Where I am sitting is very pretty; full of trees and flowers and a cool breeze.
